With the most recent addition of a three year old boy, Open Arms is now home to eleven children. Though quite ill when he came to us, he is now receiving the medical attention that he needs and we are looking forward to having him strong and healthy soon. He joins us as our other children continue to grow, thrive in school and share their unique and vibrant personalities to all those around them. We are always grateful and humbled to have a new child entrusted to our care.

Thanks to our donors, we are beginning to undertake several improvement projects. These include a new paved driveway, cottage renovations, a small volunteer accommodation, a new well and septic system. These improvements will help ensure that we have the necessary infrastructure to in place to accept more children in the months and years to come. Thank you to all of our donors who have made these improvements possible!

Thanks to our generous donors, our children now have a brand new playground to call their own. The professionally designed playground includes swings, slides, climbing ropes and nets, a look-out tower, suspended bridge and tree-house. The kids love their new playground and have declared the project a huge success! We are so thankful to be able to give our children a place to have fun and develop their physical skills.
