Welcome to the website for Open Arms Home for Children! We are a registered non-profit organization that exists to meet the needs of orphaned children in South Africa. In doing so, we provide love and security to children who have lost one or both of their parents to the AIDS pandemic. Despite the tragic loss our children have experienced, Open Arms Home for Children is a place of love, laughter and joy. Through the love of our donors, staff and volunteers, our children come to know love and peace in their lives.

Our Mission:

We exist for one reason: to provide a loving residential environment that serves the emotional, physical and developmental needs of children orphaned by the AIDS pandemic in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
Our Purpose:

To make a lasting difference for the children we serve by providing a loving environment in which they can grow intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. We want our children to know the love of neighbor and the love of our caring God!
Our Hope:

To find caring partners to help us meet the needs of the children at Open Arms. Together, with the generous support of donors and the love of our volunteers and staff, we can make a difference!
